PurePetali's story began three decades ago when one of our founders, Jane, was employed at a fabric company in Boston. Jane had a strong passion for fabrics, not just appreciating their texture but also understanding the intricacies of their production. With years of experience in the industry, she developed a keen expertise in discerning fabrics, effortlessly identifying the materials and methods used in creating clothing or bedding simply by touch.
In 2003, a pivotal moment unfolded for Jane when she welcomed her firstborn, Isabel, into the world. The joy of motherhood, however, was accompanied by a challenge – the difficulty of finding premium bedding for her newborn. Recognizing a void in the market for high-quality infant textile products, Jane was spurred to take actions. In 2005, she, along with friends and fellow mothers, Emma and Sophia—both experienced with fabrics and passionate about creating quality baby products—established PurePetali.
